Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PulseMonitor, an automated uptime monitoring service operated by Meiree ("Meiree", "we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with the service and the public status page at status.meiree.com. We collect as little as is technically necessary to run the service.
1.Introduction and Scope
PulseMonitor pings configured website URLs and API endpoints on a schedule, records the results, sends alerts, and serves a public status page. This Policy covers the data processed by the PulseMonitor service itself. It does not cover the privacy practices of the third-party websites or endpoints that are monitored, nor of any external service linked from our pages.
2.Information We Collect
We collect only what is technically necessary to operate monitoring:
- The endpoint URLs configured for monitoring.
- HTTP response codes returned by those endpoints.
- Response times measured for each check.
- Timestamps of checks and status changes.
We do not collect personal data about end-users who visit status.meiree.com, beyond the standard server and CDN request logs generated automatically by our infrastructure provider (such as IP address and user-agent), which are processed by Cloudflare under its own policies. We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking.
3.How We Use Information
The information described above is used solely to:
- Operate the monitoring service and determine the health of configured endpoints.
- Dispatch alerts via a Discord webhook when an endpoint is down or responding slowly.
- Maintain an incident log and display current and historical status on the public status page.
We do not sell, rent, or share this information for marketing purposes.
4.Data Storage
Monitoring data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, and the status page is served via Cloudflare Pages (CDN). Data residency, replication, and the physical location of storage are governed by Cloudflare's infrastructure and privacy policies. By using the service, data may be processed on Cloudflare's global network in accordance with those policies.
5.Data Retention
We retain only minimal, short-lived operational data:
- The latest status snapshot for each monitored endpoint, overwritten on each check.
- A rolling incident log limited to the last 20 incidents; older entries are discarded automatically.
- Response-time history kept locally in your browser via localStorage — this never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
We do not maintain long-term retention of personal data. Standard infrastructure logs are retained only for the period set by our infrastructure provider.
6.Third-Party Services
PulseMonitor relies on the following third-party services, each subject to its own terms and privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — serverless compute (Workers), storage (Workers KV), and CDN hosting (Pages).
- Discord — delivery of downtime and slow-response alerts via webhook.
- GitHub — source code version control and automated deployment of the status page.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle data.
7.Cookies and Local Storage
PulseMonitor does not use tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. The status page uses your browser's localStorage solely to keep a short, client-side history of response times so the page can render per-endpoint charts. This data is stored only on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
8.Your Rights
Because PulseMonitor does not collect personal data about status-page visitors beyond standard infrastructure logs, there is generally no personal data tied to you held by the service. If you believe we hold data relating to you, or if you operate a monitored endpoint and wish to request deletion of associated configuration or monitoring data, you may contact Meiree (see Contact below) and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above and publish the updated Policy on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
10.Contact
For any questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please refer to the contact details published at meiree.com.
11.Governing Law & PDPA
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore. Meiree is operated in Singapore, and we handle data in a manner consistent with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Where any personal data is processed, we aim to do so in line with the PDPA's principles of consent, purpose limitation, and reasonable protection.
