Terms of Service

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PulseMonitor — including the public status page at status.meiree.com, any monitoring functionality, or any associated alerting — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the service.

If you are using PulseMonitor on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2.Description of Service

PulseMonitor is an automated uptime and endpoint health-checking service. It performs scheduled HTTP requests against configured website URLs and API endpoints, records the results, and surfaces them in two ways:

• A public, read-only status page showing current operational state, response times, and recent incident history.
• Instant Discord alerts dispatched via webhook when an endpoint returns a non-successful status code or responds slowly.

The service runs on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure, using Cloudflare Cron Triggers for scheduling, Cloudflare Workers KV for storage, and Cloudflare Pages for hosting the status page. The service is provided as-is and may evolve over time.

3.Use of Service

You agree to use PulseMonitor only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:

• Configure monitoring of endpoints you do not own or are not authorised to monitor.
• Use the service to conduct denial-of-service attacks, excessive request flooding, or any activity that could degrade a third party's infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its underlying infrastructure, or any associated accounts or data.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures of the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or commercially redistribute the service without Meiree's prior written consent.

The public status page is provided for informational, read-only use. You may view and reference it, but you may not misrepresent its contents.

4.Service Availability

PulseMonitor is provided on a best-effort basis and currently operates on free-tier Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not offer or guarantee any service level agreement (SLA), uptime percentage, monitoring frequency, or alert delivery time.

Monitoring intervals, alert latency, and data freshness are subject to the limits of the underlying infrastructure and may change without notice. The service may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. PulseMonitor is a monitoring aid and must not be relied upon as the sole safeguard for any critical system.

5.Data Collection and Storage

To operate the service, PulseMonitor stores only the technical data necessary to perform monitoring and reporting, namely:

• The endpoint URLs configured for monitoring.
• HTTP response codes returned by those endpoints.
• Response times for each check.
• Timestamps and a rolling incident log of recent status changes.

This data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. PulseMonitor does not intentionally collect personal data through its monitoring function. For full details of what we collect and how it is handled, see our Privacy Policy.

6.Intellectual Property

PulseMonitor, the Meiree name, the Meiree flame logo and wordmark, and all associated branding, design, and source code are owned by Meiree and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the service or Meiree's branding, except the limited right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the service or its branding without Meiree's prior written permission.

7.Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meiree disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that monitoring results, alerts, or reported status will be accurate or complete.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meiree and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the service — including any reliance on monitoring results, missed or delayed alerts, or any downtime of a monitored system.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meiree's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount, if any, paid by you to Meiree for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD 0 where no fees were paid.

9.Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown above and publish the revised Terms on this page. Material changes may be communicated through the service or the Meiree website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service.
